Self-Reflection

Two things that I am good at are :
I am good at handing my homework in, on the right time. Because I try not to finish my work on the last minute. But instead I try to work on them as early as possible. I also listen in class. Because I'm not really the type of person who talks to the other person next to me. So I basically ignore who ever is talking to me, and I end up listening to the teacher more.

Two things that I need to improve:
I really need to start reading over my work. I always hand in my assignment as soon as I can. So I end up rushing and make a lot of errors. Also I always get 3-4 easy questions wrong on a test. And it really bothers me, because it's either a spelling mistake. Or one of those mistakes that you know what the right answer, but you put in the wrong thing.

My goals for becoming a better learner are:
I need to start studying harder and harder on tests especially that the exams are coming. So I can break my habit of, getting stupid mistakes. And one way of preventing that, is reading over my work and take my time. I also have to start getting more organized for exams. So I have to pile up the things I need to study all the notes I have to get ready.

In looking at your work, I would like to compliment you on:
The math you made me calculate and I loved it. Congratulations on the stuff that you've learned. The math was very hard, it is a very hard kind of subject. But it is challenging and you made it ( learned ). I also love drinking coffee instead of tea. I liked your 2 minutes to make a difference and your effort. Your flying shoes is interesting. I liked your science tests. But the " bad " tests was ok, you just need to study more and pay attention more. You have to listen more to the teacher.

I would like to remind you to study, because sometimes you are always playing. I would also love to help you study even though you don't want me to. To help you reach your goals, I will always support you.

Language Arts

Autobiography:

I was proud of my autobiography, because it was fun making it. I got to be more creative with it and all I had to do was talk about me. I'm also proud of it because I got a pretty good mark on it out of 90. But it wasn't that easy and not that hard at the same time. It was hard because I had to think about my past, present and future. It was easy because like I said this whole assignment was just talking about my life.

Black Violin

This piece of writing was about our experience at the MTYP. We watched a band called Black Violin. They told us their experiences of becoming a band and playing violins'. So we had to write about what the concert was about, how we enjoyed it and our lives with music. But I dont think I did " ok " on this assignment. Well, because I just think don't that it's my best piece of writing. But I still tried my best.

Pay it Forward, was a movie about a boy trying to make a chain reaction of good deeds. So our class had to make a good deed to anyone's lives. What my friends and I did was donate toys and books to the childrens hospital, just because.

Fluids Test #2.-

This test was my worst test. Well, because I got 6 wrong on the test. There was questions about Fluids, know which is pneumatic and hydraulic, identifying the forces and calculate the density. The part that i had most trouble with was the pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Because I didnt study it as much as I studied the others. The other mistakes was just that I got mixed up with the question. But overall I got 41 out of 45, I made up two marks because I got the Bonus marks right.

Cells and Body Systems #1-

This test was one of my best tests. We had to answer things about the cells in your body and plant cells. We also had to list the characteristics of living things, 3 basic principles, 3 main parts, parts that animal cells have compared to plant cells, labeling, and working with microscopes. The only thing that bothered me through the whole test was this one mistake. Because that one mistake was my spelling. I wrote down "nucleur membrane" instead of "nucelus membrane." But I got my bonus mark right, so I got 65 out of 65 instead of 64.
